Desert Hawk Trailhead Family Pictures | Usery Mountain Regional Park
One of the things I LOVE about Usery Mountain Regional Park as a location for family pictures is that there are SO MANY trails and you can walk down any one of them and be in the middle of a gorgeous desert within seconds. Like the Desert Hawk Trailhead.
Before this session, I hadn’t ever been on this trail. It’s right behind the Nature Center which is where I typically meet my clients before driving in to the park. But I’ve seen a lot of photographers head that direction and wanted to check it out.
I arrived a little early to give myself enough time to scope it out and see if I liked it. It was gorgeous! So many cacti in one little area! So when Alexis & Tim arrived I had them go pay the fee (please make sure you ALWAYS pay the fee!) and then meet me back in the parking lot so we could explore the Desert Hawk Trailhead for their family pictures together.
The result? MAGIC! Am I right? I love how these images turned out and how classically desert the scenery is.
And there are so many trails in Usery Park with their own unique beauty and scenery! Just pick one and we’ll find GOLD!
