What to do on a sunday afternoon?
Sometimes when I’m bored on Sunday afternoons I end up doing an impromptu photo session with my dog.
We got Rego almost exactly a year ago. Looking back getting her the same week we moved into our new apartment probably wasn’t be best greatest idea ever. So much stressed me out all at once that we actually decided to sell her.
I woke up the morning after we made that decision and sat on the floor and played and cuddled with her while I bawled my eyes out. By the time Matt woke up I had changed my mind. No way were we selling her, she was ours. I’d made a commitment to her and I wasn’t going to chicken out now.
I never looked back after that. Rego is my baby girl and a member of the family. I know, I know. I’m one of “those” people. She won me over completely. We’re already looking forward to the day when we can get another puppy, but for now we’re getting ready to bring Emilia into the world and are so excited for her debut.
Not going to lie, one of the things I’m most excited for is Sunday afternoon photo sessions with my two baby girls.
