As a Florence Arizona family photographer, I love the challenge of finding locations that aren’t always full of cactus or scream desert. One of the best places to look are local farms, especially if they’re growing flowers!

For example, this beautiful sunflower field blooms in October and is located in Buckeye, AZ. Though it’s a bit of a drive, the sunflowers are worth the drive from Florence, AZ to get that little something different for your family photos.

Though I haven’t been there yet, I recently learned of a Lavender Farm on the north side of Tucson that I can’t wait to try out next June.

And of course, if we have good rain, you can find wildflowers pretty much everywhere in March.
